HOUSE MEETINGS

There will be four House Meetings between now and December. Three have already been scheduled. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss what is the mission of Galilee Lutheran Church.

The first HOUSE MEETING is scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, from 10:30 a.m. until noon at Galilee.

BIBLE STUDY

Thursday Mornings at 11:00 a.m. in the Galilee library. The texts for the coming Sunday will be the focus of each week's study. Bring a bag lunch. We would enjoy having you join us.

SEAMSTRESS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

A volunteer is needed to make a dust cover for the Clavinova (digital piano). Please contact JoAnn French at jfrench.galilee@cpinternet.com if you'd like to volunteer.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Volunteers are needed to serve as Refreshment Hosts (bring refreshments, set up, serve and clean up) each Sunday. Please sign up in the narthex.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR

We are looking for a time for singing and musical fun with preschool and elementary age children. Parents, please weigh in on this if your child(ren) would like to join the group! The two top suggestions are Sunday morning and Wednesday before the adult choir rehearsal. Please contact Jo Ann French with your vote!

BAKE & CRAFT SALE

Mark your calendars for December 13th to come and see the many beautiful handcrafted items provided by Galilee members and friends, and have a chance to do some Christmas gift shopping and purchase your favorite holiday treats! Proceeds from the sale will support the ministries of Galilee. Complimentary coffee and cider will be served during the sale and individually wrapped cookies and bars will be available for purchase.

To make this event a success, we need your help with donations of craft items and/or baked goods for the sale. Craft items may be dropped off at the church office any time before December 13th. Donations of food and baked items will be accepted Friday, December 12th from 7AM to 5PM or on Saturday morning, December 13th.
