LENTEN MIDWEEK SERVICES
The forty days of Lent begin on Ash Wednesday, which this year falls on February 22. We will have the opportunity to be marked with the sign of the cross with ashes on our foreheads as a reminder of our mortality and hope for new life through Jesus Christ. The theme for Lent this year is “You Shall Love the Lord Your God”.
Except for the Ash Wednesday service, the Lenten Midweek Services will be in the fellowship hall starting at 6:00 PM. In a departure from recent practice, we will take the first half hour for the service featuring Holden Evening Prayer in its entirety. After that we will serve soup and enjoy fellowship with one another during the second half hour.

February 22 - worship service with Holy Communion in the sanctuary at 7:00 PM.

A Lector sign-up sheet for 2012 has been placed in the information kiosk. Please sign up at your earliest convenience. The lessons will be sent to you prior to the Sunday you are scheduled to read. If you have any questions about becoming a lector, contact Lorrie Hayne.

BIBLE STUDY - Thursdays at 11:00 AM. The texts for the coming Sunday will be the focus of each week’s study. Please bring a bag lunch.

Attention Ushers: The Ushering Schedule is posted here for your convenience. If you are scheduled for a service that you are unable to attend, please try to find a substitute. Notify the church secretary at 651-488-6769 by 2 PM Wednesday before the usher change so that the correct name can be printed in the bulletin.
ALTAR GUILD SCHEDULE
The Altar Guild Schedule is posted here for your convenience. If you are unable to serve during your scheduled week, please find a substitute and notify the church secretary at 651-488-6769 by Wednesday noon before the worship service so that she can insert the correct Altar Guild member name in the bulletin.
